Understanding the situation and definition of the position
First, by accepting an assignment, Cornerstone carefully deepens the knowledge of the Client, its strategy, its history, culture and organization. In collaboration with the Client Company, defines the profile of the candidate to be searched, the search strategy, the target list of companies operating in specific sectors or the like, to identify those professionals whose characteristics are in line with those of the position to be filled. Only after completing these preliminary analyses, the research will have a positive start.
Identification of candidates
The methodology of direct research, better known as head-hunting, consists of a systematic and targeted exploration of the most significant companies operating in the areas defined by the customer. This helps identify those professionals that best meet the needs of the company. The analysis is supported by confidential information suggested by key managers working in various positions, well-known, whose judgement has always been excellent. The Research Department also examines our database containing profiles of qualified professionals, compares them to the position to be filled and makes a careful examination of all the material gathered in the course of research carried out previously and which are relevant to the current
one. If necessary, this test is extended to part of or the entire network of Cornerstone.
Interview and assessment of candidates
Having identified a number of potential candidates to fill the position requested, Cornerstone proceeds through specific interviews, to verify their professional competences, personal characteristics and motivation to change. During the search, continuous contact updating the Client Company is maintained.
Presentation of candidates to the Client Company
Cornerstone prepares a Confidential Report for each candidate who is presented to the Company, containing personal and professional information, as well as an overall assessment with reference to the specific search.
Assistance in negotiation
Cornerstone assists the Client Company in both meetings with the candidates as well as in the final negotiations with the chosen one, also offering support in the evaluation of the parameters of the market average pay.
Reference check of candidates
Cornerstone checks all professional and personal references of final candidates, sources and information obtained legally.
On the inclusion of the candidate selected for the first two months. Once agreement is reached with the successful candidate, Cornerstone assists him throughout the transition to the new company maintaining contacts both with him and with the Client in order to facilitate their integration into the new organizational context. Subsequently, over a period of 6-12 months Cornerstone makes contact with the successful candidate and the client to compare the responses to each other’s expectations.

✔ No information about the candidates or the Customer shall be revealed without permission.
✔ During the research, the client and the selected candidates will be constantly kept informed of the progress of the same.
✔ Other managers of the Client will not be informed of the research, except when specifically authorized.
✔ The assignment will be completed only in case of the hiring of the candidate selected or if the Client Company decides to suspend or cancel the search for any reason.
The Client Company is “off limits” for two years after completion of the last search
